We offer real-time, trusted 1:1 direct support, assessment & referral for all types of progressive groups, leaders, and organizers across the country on a wide range of threats.

RAISE AWARENESS
We work to increase security awareness & consciousness. We create space for people to be heard and share their experiences.

ASSESSMENT
We bridge campaign &
crisis management
with security experts to ensure a deep assessment of needs and solutions for individuals and organizations.

TRAININGS
We provide training in Physical, Cyber, Events, Communication, and Legal Security. We serve a broad community and especially focus on those facing the most threats like: women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, religious minorities, and others, so that they have access to the tools & resources they need to make a difference safely.

Founded in February 2024, the Democracy Security Project Action Fund is a one-stop-shop for security, safety, and support for anyone working to defend democracy.

Democracy Security Project Action Fund is led by experienced campaign and advocacy operatives who’ve dealt with physical and cyber threats of all kinds. Our growing community includes organizers and trainers and is led by seasoned leaders and security experts with experience from across the country. We build culturally and campaign competent training, communications, and support solutions to ensure a deep assessment of needs for our movement.

Our experience throughout the political ecosystem helps us tailor security demands to meet specific needs. We work to build situational awareness and assist with crisis response protocols to ensure strong de-escalation and communications practices. Our approach to security is people-centric, prioritizing physical and cyber security, as well as emotional well-being. Investing in security, safety, and awareness helps us all build the sustainability and resilience of our people and our movement to drive the change we wish to see in the world.
