Kaia Ferari
Kaia Ferari is a Millennial philanthropist and activist focused on creating a more equitable world for marginalized communities.
Informed by her experience growing up as the only transgender and openly queer person in her rural Pennsylvania hometown, Kaia is passionate about ensuring that civic and governmental representation reflects the diversity of marginalized people’s lived experiences and unique needs.
Kaia recruits and supports candidates for political office, ranging from local to federal races, as a Board LGBTQ+ Victory Fund. Kaia was previously a member of the National Finance Committee for Hillary for America and Member of Latino Victory Fund Board of Directors. Kaia also served on the Board of the Leslie-Lohman Museum in New York—the only LGBTQ art museum in the United States.
After the 2016 election, Kaia returned to Loyola to complete a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology. Prior to that time, she focused on political, social justice and cultural pursuits, including earning a Level IV Wine and Spirit Education Trust Certification (WSET).
